Alan R. Mège has been the Magisterial District Judge for the Borough of Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township since 2018.  He is a 1994 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and a 1997 graduate of The Dickinson School of Law.  During law school, he was a judicial law clerk for the President Judge of Wayne County and after law school, a judicial law clerk for a judge in Lehigh County.  After entering private practice, he worked for a few firms in the Lehigh Valley before starting his own office as well as being an Arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas of Lehigh County, the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County and for the Better Business Bureau.

During his tenure, Judge Mege has been an active member of the Special Court Judges Association of Pennsylvania (SCJAP) serving as the District 10 President and serving on numerous state committees including being the Chair of the Judiciary Committee.

Judge Mege has also been active within his home county of Northampton, serving on multiple county level committees including the Criminal Justice Advisory Board (CJAB) and Constable Review Board (CRB) as well as serving as president of the Northampton County Magisterial District Judge Association.
