Judge Amy Marcinkiewicz was elected in 2021 and took the bench on January 3, 2022. Her Court, 50-3-06, is located at 202 East Main Street, Evans City, Butler County.

Her district covers the Townships of Adams, Connoquenessing, Forward, Jackson, Lancaster, and the Boroughs of Callery, Connoquenessing, Evans City, Harmony, Mars, Valencia, and Zelienople.

Judge Amy is a long-time Butler County resident who is very familiar with her district. Her former career was in Broadcast Journalism. She worked for 26 years as an Emmy award-winning television reporter covering news in the very jurisdiction she represents. She attended the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and received her bachelor of journalism degree in 1990. Her career took her throughout the United States, landing in Pittsburgh in 1995. In 2015, while juggling a full-time career and family, she went back to college and received a master’s degree in education with a focus on special education from Westminster College in New Wilmington. Amy is married and has two daughters. Judge Amy is active in the Special Court Judges Association of Pennsylvania(SCJAP). She serves on the Court Administration committee and the Publications committee. Judge Amy is active in many nonprofit organizations that specialize in advocating for, empowering, and supporting people living with disabilities.
